Tickets can also be purchased at the door; to avoid long queues it is recommended that you pre-purchase your tickets.
It is an outdoor event with allocated covered stretch tents and marquee areas for seating.
Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted
No, all refreshments are to be purchased from the vendors at the festival
Yes, you will be given a wristband, provided you keep it on you will be able to exit and re-enter
Yes, that said we do not have facilities for storing them

It is R20 per vehicle in the designated parking areas
Parking inside the allocated East Rand Mall parking area will be at their own parking rates to be paid at the mall at their ticket machines.
A shuttle service will be provided to pick you up and drop you off at selected pick up points at no extra charge.
All vendors have already been finalised. Please send all your information to info@caravela.co.za and we can add you onto our database for future events.
A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to the SPCA Boksburg and Hospice East Rand.
All sales are final; there are no cancellations, refunds, or credits.
Tickets/Wristbands are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen Tickets/Wristbands.
All prices listed are “per person”.
You must wear your admission wristband for the duration of that day of the festival. Wristband(s) are non-transferable.
All customers purchasing a ticket to the Caravela Portuguese Festival agree to the festival policies listed on this page.
Artists and times are subject to change without notice; the festival is rain or shine.
The Caravela Portuguese Festival is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. Our official policy states that there will be no refunds for tickets. All sales are final. There will be no reissues for lost or stolen tickets. The Caravela Portuguese Festival will take place rain or shine, and artists and times are subject to change without notice
By entering the Caravela Portuguese Festival, you understand that you may be photographed, filmed or videotaped, and you authorize the promoter the unqualified right to take pictures and/or recordings of you and grant the perpetual right to take use your likeness, image, photo without compensation, for broadcast or exhibition in any medium.
Security and Event Staff have the right to refuse entry to any ticket holder, without a refund, for any reason at their discretion, including but not limited to: disorderly behaviour, intoxication, venue capacity, breach of security restrictions.

Please do not bring dogs, cats or other animals. Personal assistance dogs are permitted provided that prior authorisation has been received via email from info@caravela.co.za
