Festival Highlights


Get ready to watch a world record being smashed as Paul Vieira, owner & creator of Cake Extreme, (who holds a Platinum Master chef honour of the SACA) will prepare a World Record 12 meter detailed cake of Madeira in celebration of the magnificent island. 


We’ve got wine for the most discerning palette. So if you consider yourself a wine connoisseur, come on over and taste traditional Portuguese drinks and some of the best wines Madeira has to offer.


There’s no food like Portuguese food. We’ve put together an endless array of traditional Portuguese cuisines that will tease your tastebuds with explosive flavour. This is where great food meets great friends.


Have a stroll about, and allow us to inspire you with collectors’ items, momentos, and gifts to take home. All representing the Portuguese culture and the beautiful island of Madeira. We have something for everybody.

The Portuguese Forum is a non-profit organization that supports and works with the South African government in order to advocate and empower the Portuguese as well as address the many growing needs of the Portuguese-South African community.
